Some pictures...

I thought I would take the opportunity to upload a few pics before I leave Quito. The first is of the Basilica I mentioned a few posts ago.

Nikki and I climbed up almost to the very top of the large tower and then got onto the ledge outside to take the picture of us at the top. Nothing like a complete lack of safety equipment to make a person feel alive :)



This is a picture of a very small section of the market at Otavalo. The entire centre of town shuts down in terms of auto traffic and the vendors set up these elaborate stands to show their wares. Quite the production! This kind of set up goes on for blocks and blocks...



And finally, me at the small well-visited waterfall just out of Otavalo. Sweet...
